UV spot lamps for high-intensity ultraviolet light concentration on small areas. These units can be equipped with multiple optical guides and precise exposure time control.
Ultraviolet spot lamps.UV spot lamps (or spot curing systems) are used when it is necessary to concentrate UV light onto a very small area to achieve high irradiance, typically to trigger the curing of an adhesive or resin via photocatalysis.
Most of these units are desktop-sized and can be divided into two main groups, depending on whether they are equipped with an optical guide to direct the ultraviolet light to the target area.
Systems without optical guides are equipped with a concave mirror that reflects UV light toward a lens system, which focuses and directs it onto the surface to be irradiated. This generates a high-intensity ultraviolet beam. These systems are particularly useful for irradiating areas up to 30 mm in diameter, provided the target area of the object can be positioned directly under the beam emitted by the equipment.
Systems equipped with an optical guide are designed to focus ultraviolet light—primarily manually—onto an area between 5 and 8 mm in diameter, depending on the thickness of the selected optical guide. These systems can be fitted with multiple optical cables to facilitate the simultaneous illumination of several zones once positioned, or to perform various scans with the light beams within an automated installation.
Regardless of the model, all of these UV spot lamps are equipped with a shutter that allows for precise control of the surface exposure time to UV light. This can be operated via a foot switch or through a control system—which can be integrated into the unit or external—facilitating seamless integration into automated production lines.

As for the emission characteristics of the ultraviolet lamps used in this product line, options range from 250W medium-pressure UV lamps to high-power emitters that provide an irradiance of 20 W/cm². The use of various emission spectra, and even specialized filters, is possible and significantly expands the versatility of these units.
