In the study of photochemical reactions, it is fundamental to analyze the wavelength absorbed by reagents/products and its photochemical relevance. Furthermore, understanding the influence of temperature on the process is critical. On the other hand, reactions can be multiphase, such as photocatalysis, requiring uniform stirring even in high-viscosity systems.

All basic research shares one thing in common: the amount of starting material for studies is limited due to product availability or material cost. Therefore, using a small reaction volume and a multi-sample reactor provides a significant advantage.

All these aspects have led to the development of a unique and innovative multi-sample screening tool, the only product on the market capable of resolving all tasks in a repeatable and efficient manner: the HANU PX9 Photochemical Screening Equipment.

The equipment consists of 9 tubes with a volume of 8ml each, irradiated by 9 independent LED emitters (the wavelength can be the same or different for each). The intensity of each wavelength can be adjusted per vial, or they can operate with the same photon flux. The LEDs are housed in an interchangeable module that can be removed from the vial area.

The 9 reactors are temperature-controlled and can operate between -20°C and 60°C without the LEDs being affected by condensation, ice formation, or overheating. Each LED can be individually managed via a touch interface.

Stirring follows the same principle as other HANU reactors; the screening system is mounted on a platform shaker, allowing for the irradiation of viscous products and substances prone to phase separation.

The sophisticated HANU PX9 Screening equipment is the ideal product for the standard implementation of basic photochemical research in industrial and scientific R&D.
