It is common during chemical research to have only small quantities of valuable compounds or those that are difficult to obtain and/or produce, such as specific catalysts. For this reason, it is often necessary to have small-volume yet highly versatile reactors capable of performing reactions under varying conditions of temperature, time, and radiant flux.

The Batch-S photoreactor, with a working volume of 1 to 20 ml, meets all the requirements for use in the initial research phase by limiting chemical consumption and allowing several parallel reactions to be carried out in a single step, as the standard version can handle 4 reaction volumes simultaneously.

Several key design points of the reactor should be highlighted:

  • A gas inlet port for the reaction (inert or reactive gas).
  • Specially developed, independent, and tightly sealed stirring systems for each reactor.
  • Temperature-controlled reactors via a liquid cooling jacket that can be connected to an external unit.
  • Independent reflector and filter systems for each reactor, optimizing photon flux and allowing the use of optical filters for wavelength selection.

  • NovaLight LP30x emitters.
